"Irish" Greg McQuaid grew up in Ireland (duh!) but moved to San Francisco in 1995 and has been working in Bay Area radio ever since. Having worked with local legends Alex Bennett and Dave Morey, Greg feels right at home being part of the great Don Bleu's morning show.

Greg is an avid bike racer and marathon runner and competes in endurance events almost every weekend. He and his longtime partner Samantha just got a little one-eyed dog from the pound named Pirate who enjoys long runs on the beach and sleeping!

Music has always been a huge part of Greg's life, he's played drums poorly in numerous bands and likes everything from jazz and country to all kinds of rock'n'roll. The first record Greg ever bought was "One Step Beyond" by Madness and his first proper concert was in Dublin's Phoenix Park featuring U2, Simple Minds, Eurythmics and Big Country. He once appeared on VH1's "Rock'n'Roll Jeopardy" and finished second.  "Who are Hall & Oates" is the wrong answer to a question long forgotten!

There is nothing he enjoys more than sitting at AT&T Park, sipping on an ice cold Lagunitas and watching his beloved Giants beat the dastardly Dodgers.
